Nine Days 'Til Christmas

So, a quick update before I go Christmas shopping (Bleh! Who invented shopping anyway???) Christmas break is almost here, but you know, I always go back to school and hate it more than normal because you come back for three weeks and have finals!!!!!! Grrrrr! So yeah. In case you didn't know, my bro got in a wreck recently. We're not sure if he totalled his car or not, but man is it a bummer. For those of you sympathetic, caring people, yes he is fine. A little stiff afterwards, but not too bad, especially compared to his car. In other news, errr, I watched Enchanted yesterday. I enjoyed it in the lame love story, knock-off-of-other-films way. Okay, okay, I was really amused by it. Actually, I would probably watch it again if we were doing a girls sleepover or I was really feeling lazy (but that doesn't leave this page ;-) ). So yeah, that's about it.

'Til next time. Oh, and check out the video I added!

Time for a post.....

So I need to let you all know that I am indeed alive and functioning, but my internet time has been very limited as of late due to school and stuff. Ummmm......it's weird not having the play but still not having time anymore, but that's okay. I've had more time for hanging out with people, which has been nice. You know, this whole blog thing seems kind of pointless, but what the heck. Let's see. A couple of things that have stood out, well, okay they both hapened Sunday were that Mel pointed out something that really hit home and I think God saved my life. Okay, the first one is that she said something about instead of complaining about having to clean the shower, be thankful you have a shower to clean. That really reversed my thought process on chores. I've been in countries where the people work far harder than I do and still have less. So yeah, count your blessings. Second, I was trying to decide whether or not to get gas on the way home from church. I had my mom's credit card (with permission!!) and I figured I should probably use it and get it back to her, instead of keeping it another day but I really didn't want to get gas. I had enough to get me to school, and the tank didn't seem to be burning as fast as normal, so it wasn't necessary to go exactly that night. So I prayed, "God, give me a clear sign." It might sound kind of lame, but for some reason I didn't know if I should get gas or not and I didn't want to not get it just because I was being lazy. So I pull into the only gas station on my way home and there are two open spots. The first one I tried to pull up to ended up having a person standing there filling a little tank, which was a little creepy for some reason. So I pull up to the other open spot and park. I get out and am too far away from the nozzle, so I get back in and move the car. I get out again and unscrew my gas cap, only to look up and see that the whole thing was out of order. Grrr. Anyway, that pretty much confirmed that I wasn't supposed to get gas there. I ended up going to a station that is beyond my house, but not too far. I can't explain it, but I have this feeling God was protecting me from something. So yeah. Random story.

Anyway, I'll write more later. I need to go research white boards.

Oh, BTW, 20 (can you believe it?) DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!
